Here’s the info. on the variants for the TMNT Micro Series #8 Fugitoid from IDW. Original IDW solicitation details below. Available September 26, 2012. UPDATE: Due to an issue with the normal printing company that IDW uses, Fugitoid will now be released earlier than planned (now September 5), which means it will be out before TMNT #14 is released. IDW had intended to have #14 be released prior to Fugitoid but, unfortunately, this could not happen. Therefore, reading Fugitoid before #14 will spoil a minor “surprise” that was intended to be revealed first in #14. Reading Fugitoid before #14 will not create any story continuity confusion but it will spoil the storytelling design originally intended by IDW.

yes, these micro-series have been really amazing…some great story-telling.
That’s a good point Rich, and yes it is interesting to see different interpretations of them, I think that’s part of why I like the micro series.
Master Yoshi, I tend to agree that Dan’s work was good but I don’t think the other art is horrible, just different. No one draws the Turtles like Kevin Eastman…he draws THE BEST turtles and his art is simply the best of anyone in the history of the Turtles franchise. So, compared to his Turtles, all other Turtles look funny to me but I don’t care too much…it’s neat to see how others interpret the design. With that said, these new Turtles interpretations are nothing us long-time TMNT fans aren’t used to…remember Vol. I #38-40? Those 3 Hedden / McWeeney issues were just horrid…the TMNT looked like characters from MAD Magazine. They are part of the TMNT history and that makes them unique but, personally, I’d be fine never seeing those renditions of the Turtles ever again.

I’m loving these Micro-Series, I didn’t think they’d be so good. I impressed over and over again.
But…. Is anyone sorta disappointed with TMNT ongoings Art after Dan left?…… Maybe i was use to his style..but that Andy guy draws the turtles sorta funky… The rest is good splinter April , Casey also looked kinda weird but I dunno… I hope they get the artist from Casey Jones Micro or even Splinter Micro those both had great art! and of course stories.
