Here’s the info. on the variants for TMNT #6 from IDW. Available on January 25, 2012.
- Cover A (Dan Duncan) - regular cover shipped in a 4:1 ratio (A:B) in a single order (i.e., if shops order only 1 copy they get Cover A; if they order 4 copies of Cover A they can then purchase one copy of Cover B)
- Cover B (Kevin Eastman) - regular cover shipped in a 4:1 ratio (A:B) in a single order (i.e., shops must order 4 copies of Cover A in order to purchase one copy of Cover B)
- Cover RI (Rob Guillory) - 10 copy Retailer Incentive (i.e., shops that order 8 copies of Cover A and 2 copies of Cover B get this one free)

The RI cover looks horrible. I understand it’s their own style, but it looks like a 10 year-old drew it. Just my opinion. But the other two covers look amazing.
Albert, I would agree that it’s a bit “busy”…
Exactly. But what I really dislike about it is that it looks like Raph isn’t part of the team by separating him to a corner shot.
I hope the different colored bandanas are a mistake on the Kevin Eastman cover.
Make sure you read issue #5…
Just checked that out! I hate the idea. I’ll just have to get used to it.
TMNT Micro-Series #1 makes more sense now regarding that aspect. I thought that was a mistake as well!
Why does the cover of number 6 say #3?
I’m sure it’s just a pre-solicitation mock up mistake well in advance of final cover completion…I scanned this cover directly from the PREVIEWS issue and I haven’t seen any other covers for #6 yet.
